Brief Summary Works:
Domestic Sewer Connection Contract consisted of making new connections to the public sewer. Works involved rerouting the existing sewer pipes to the public sewer, and disconnecting the surface water run off from the system. Full temporary and permanent tar reinstatement works carried out in line with dates given in the contract documents. RCCS Ltd also designed and implemented traffic management system in line with Chapter 8 the Department of the Environment, Traffic Signs Manual.
Scope:
- Provision of Structural Survey of existing dwelling along the route of works
- Foul Sewerage Pipelines along Public Roadways at depth 2.5m
- Foul Sewerage Pipelines along Private Driveways at depth 1.5m
- Maintaining Access for Residents and Liaison with Residents during Works
- Installation of Saddles for 225 diam Concrete Pipes
- Installation of in line Rat Traps
- Manholes – Precast Manholes with Preformed base, custom made water tight monolithic benched bases. Safer construction, watertight system due to combination of a thicker wall and rubber joint ensures a watertight structure, efficiency and 120 years design life
- Opening of Existing roadways and Permanent Reinstatement
- Connection to Live Sewer Main Network
